Youth resource about 'awkward' issues

    When looking for bible studies for youth groups the range of resources that cover biblical themes, characters and the basics are pretty much catered for. However, when it comes to 'those' issues that young people want to discuss options are limited, meaning youth leaders will search the breadth of the internet hoping to find something that ticks the box.

    Why is this? Perhaps its because 'those' issues are quite controversial and for many youth leaders it is hard enough to process on a personal scale, never mind a room with inquisitive teenagers! So, when a resource is released that tackles some of the most challenging topics, you have to applaud their tenacity and say 'thank you' and give credit where credit is due.

    'Seriously Awkward'

    is brilliant and contains six sessions on some of the most challenging issues that young people are facing today. Written by the Children's Society, their expert knowledge has been used to create a resource from a faith perspective that helps youth leaders unpack key topics such as; identity, sexting, mental health, healthy relationships, and life online, empowering their young people to support themselves and their peers.
