What fantastic feedback ratings clearly demonstrating how the 270 people who attended our ‘Connected’ diocesan day conference valued and appreciated the event.

For less than £7 a head (including lunch) we hosted a hugely varied day programme that served as a launch platform for our new diocesan Vision and priorities; ‘Creating connections’. I was especially blown away by the real sense of excitement in the venue as we gathered together to explore this new God given vision, before stepping out on this new journey together.

Some comments from those who attended:

“There was a great sense of togetherness in the spirit, good clarity of theme and great speakers with good bible teaching input and good balance of voices.”

“I really felt ‘part of the whole’ from the event and there was a great sense of connectivity.”

“The variety of the programme was good at keeping people’s attention and ensuring varied input.”

“I felt there was real buzz about the whole day, with so many people making the time to be there.”

“I could not fault the day. The day was one of the best organised events I have ever been to.”

“It was a refreshingly good day. I felt connected to the Diocese and encouraged and enthused to try new things to connect with others”

“The whole event fed hearts and minds, was well-organised and exceeded my expectations.”

“The input throughout the day was helpful and inspirational and I particularly valued the theological input and its connection to parish life.”
