First published 16th August 2013
Kigezi Diocese Water and Sanitation Programme (KDWSP) is a Faith Based

Mixing cement (mainly the women!). The work involves learning & sharing skills in the community.

Organization aimed at meeting the needs of the rural poor and water stressed communities in the Diocese of Kigezi, which shares the same boundaries as Kabale District.

This is a unit under the Department of Planning and Development of Kigezi Diocese. Its vision is to have Healthy and self reliant members of the Church and Community http://www.kigezi-watsan.ug/

Some of the financial support comes through Tearfund Connected Churches and we knew that several North Wilts Deanery Churches supported this so we were keen to see the programme at work. The communities we visited and the team said a big thankyou to all from North Wilts who support this.

The programme brings transformation and is life-changing for families and communities. We were humbled and really wowed by this work.

Thankyou Rev Reuben and the whole team for taking a day to show us your work.

Thank you to the communities who welcomed us and enabled us learn more about the problems of and solutions to the lack of clean water in these hilly regions in Kigezi Diocese.
