The Diocese of Bristol is delighted to announce that the Revd Ross Pilliner has been licensed as Priest in Charge of the Gauzebrook Benefice.
Revd Ross was licensed by The Rt Revd Neil Warwick, Acting Bishop of Bristol and Bishop of Swindon, at Holy Cross, Sherston on 28 September 2026.

Ross was born in Neath in South Wales and has spent his whole life within the Diocese of Llandaff, worshipping, discerning, and training for ministry.
He had a rich and varied training experience at St Padarn’s College, serving in churches from city settings to rural communities.
Speaking about his new role, Ross said:
“As a family, we’ve had such a warm welcome to the Gauzebrook Group of churches. Rural communities can face many challenges, so our churches, each with their own deep sense of place, can be important places of fellowship, faith and hope. My prayer is that we will grow in discipleship and boldness, asking the Holy Spirit to strengthen us as we share the good news of Jesus Christ.”
Bishop Neil said:
"Ross brings with him rich experience of rural ministry from Cowbridge in the Diocese of Landaff. This will serve him well as he begins this role. It is wonderful to have him in the Diocese, and I pray for his flourishing as he shares the love of Jesus in the Gauzebrook Benefice."
We give thanks for Ross and pray for his flourishing in the coming months as he serves and shares the love of God in the Gauzebrook Benefice.
