Rosemary Radcliffe licensed as Vicar in Abbots Leigh with Leigh Woods Benefice

The Diocese of Bristol is pleased to share that the Revd Rosemary Radcliffe has been licensed as Vicar in the Benefice of Abbots Leigh with Leigh Woods.

Revd Rosemary was licensed by the Rt Revd Neil Warwick, Acting Bishop of Bristol and Bishop of Swindon, at St Mary, Leigh Woods, on Tuesday, 13 January.

Rosemary grew up in Redland and studied Law at the University of Plymouth before moving back to Bristol. She ran a Childminding business for several years and served her Curacy as Curate in Charge of Warmley, Bitton and Syston. She is currently studying for an MA in Christian Spirituality.

Speaking about her new role, Rosemary said:

“I believe that our loving God created us to be in community with one another, and that we honour God when we support and encourage each other; through listening to each other’s voices, identifying those who don’t have opportunities to speak out and enabling their point of view to be seen. It is my hope and prayer that together we will grow in our understanding of Christ’s love for us and for each other, and share that knowledge with the wider community. Be assured you are in my prayers, and I look forward to being with you in due course.”

Please join us in praying for Revd Rosemary as she begins to serve and share the love of God in the Benefice of Abbots Leigh with Leigh Woods.
