Receive telephone donations via the Parish Giving Scheme

First published 12th May 2020

While our church buildings are closed, it's more important than ever to offer people different ways to give money to support the church.

The good news is that the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) now offers a telephone service, designed to enable prospective donors to set up a regular Direct Debit donation to your parish over the phone.

If your church is already registered with the PGS, simply let your congregation know that they can make a simple phone call to set up a regular gift (monthly, quarterly or annual). The service will operate weekdays between 9 - 5pm, and the dedicated number to call is 0333 002 1271. More information is available here.

If your church isn't yet registered with the PGS, now is a good time to sign up! You can print off a registration form from the link above, and send it to Clare Fussell. Instructions are all on the web page. Once you've received confirmation that you're registered, you can promote the telephone giving service to your church community.
