Each year, Housing Justice holds Homelessness Sunday on the Sunday before World Homeless Day. This year, Homelessness Sunday falls on 4th October, and the theme is ‘Community Cohesion’.
The aim of the Sunday is to raise awareness of the issues surrounding homelessness among Churches and their congregations by asking Churches to run their own service, either on 4th October or on a more convenient date.

Their vision is that, by taking time to reflect on Homelessness Sunday, church congregations will consider what they can do in their own community to alleviate homelessness, suffering and poverty.
They have produced resources for services, including prayers, hymns, a reflection and guidance what churches can do to serve the homeless in their area.
These resources can be accessed at the link below.
