Cinnamon Social Action Audit  - launching on 15th September!

Cinnamon Network logoLaunching 15th September – Share your impact!

We’re excited to launch a Diocesan-wide Parish Social Action Audit in partnership with the  Cinnamon Network. This is your opportunity to highlight the incredible ways your parish supports your local community - from food banks and warm spaces to lunch clubs and befriending schemes.

The audit runs from 15th September to 31st October, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

How to take part:

For most parishes, churchwardens and people with incumbent status will receive an email from the Cinnamon Network with a unique login to access the survey. If you are from a PCN church, your ops manager will receive the email.

If you believe you should have received a login but haven’t, please contact Naomi Jervis

The email will come from the Cinnamon Network (not bristoldiocese.org), but it is safe to click the link. If you’re unsure, feel free to double-check with Naomi.

The survey questions can be found here. It will be helpful for you to look at the questions and gather all of the information you need before filling in the survey.

The audit is facilitated by The Cinnamon Network and is confidential - the published results won’t contain any identifiable data. However, the Diocese will receive access to the data in order for us to provide follow-up support.

Why should my parish take part?

  • Free Cinnamon Connect Membership - Access training, resources, and microgrants to support your church’s community work. Find out more here.
  •  A Clear Picture of Social Action - Help us understand and celebrate the amazing work happening across the Diocese.
  • Stronger Connections - We’ll use the data to connect parishes doing similar work and build supportive networks.
  •  Amplify Your Impact - Your input helps us demonstrate the Church’s vital role to local leaders and unlock funding opportunities.

I have more questions, can you help?

We have answers to frequently asked questions here. If you still have questions after that, you can contact Naomi by emailing naomi.jervis@bristoldiocese.org or phoning 0117 454 399.

If you would like support filling in the survey, you can book a one-to-one session to go through the survey with a member of Diocesan Support Services below.
