Churchwardens from across the Diocese were recently invited by the Rt Revd Neil Warwick, Acting Bishop of Bristol and Bishop of Swindon, to attend a gathering, thanking them for all they do for their Churches. The event took place on Wednesday, 29 April at St Andrews, Chippenham and attendees had the opportunity to connect, share stories and enjoy drinks and nibbles in the sunshine.
Bishop Neil said:
“Myself and the Archdeacons gathered Churchwardens from across our Diocese last week to say a big thank you for the faithful and diligent job they do, helping make our churches open and alive.”
We give thanks to God for every Churchwarden serving in the Diocese and pray that God would bless them as they support the vital work of their churches.
