Evangelism and exploring faith

Evangelism is essentially what we are doing when we respond to the question, How can we show others, wherever we are and whatever we are doing, that they are loved by God?

Evangelism is vital for the future life of the Church of England. It embodies the Church’s mission to share the transforming love of Jesus Christ with the wider world. In a society where many have not consciously rejected faith but remain spiritually open, evangelism offers a bridge between the Church and those seeking meaning, hope, and community. It is not merely a task for a few but a calling for the whole Church to witness to the Gospel in everyday life.
