Give the gift of Lay Ministry this Advent

This Advent, open the door to ministry.

Across the Diocese of Bristol, Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs) are making a profound impact; leading worship, offering pastoral care, and sharing the love of Christ in schools, workplaces, and communities. They are volunteers, yet their contribution is invaluable.

Why give?

  • 154 LLMs currently serve across our Diocese
  • Together, they give over 1,200 hours each week to further the Church’s mission
  • It costs around £5,000 to train each new LLM
  • It takes £253 a year to sustain their ministry

Your gift helps us train and support the next generation of LLMs to follow Jesus, serve others, and transform communities.

We will be sharing a story of a different LLM every day of Advent in our digital calendar below! If you feel inspired by our LLMs stories, please consider donating to support their ministry.
