Day four: Meet Alison Burston

Alison Burston

Alison is a Licensed Lay Minister (LLM) serving in Stratton, Swindon. Her ministry is rooted in compassion and care, both in her church and her professional life.

"I have a deep love for people from all walks of life and a sincere desire to look out for God’s children. My caring nature drives me to serve others in the Lord’s name, ensuring that everyone I meet feels valued, respected, and supported with compassion and honesty."

As a Deputy Care Manager, Alison brings her faith into her workplace, offering kindness and dignity to those she serves. Her story reminds us that ministry often happens in the quiet, everyday moments of care and connection.

"My faith has been my unwavering anchor—my strength in times of joy and my refuge during life’s darkest moments. Each day, I aim to serve with humility and grace, sharing the message of God’s enduring love through both word and action."
