Debra’s ministry is rooted in trust and calling, serving the Woodbridge Group in North Wiltshire. Her journey into lay ministry began with a moment she will never forget.
"It’s been a long time since I had my original calling, when I heard the words: ‘I am the Light of the world, I am all that is right and good, go and teach the word of God.’ I definitely remember the panic as I’d only been a Christian for three months!"
That moment sparked a lifelong commitment. Over time, doors opened and Debra received the training, love, and support she needed to follow the calling that had been placed on her heart.
One thing stands out in her ministry — something that never ceases to amaze her:
"No matter what I do, I am never alone. Jesus helps me with it all. If I worry or stress or feel overwhelmed, Jesus always reminds me to never underestimate Him - the Light of the world and all that is right and good."
Debra’s story reminds us that ministry is built on trust — trusting God to guide, strengthen, and sustain us every step of the way.
