St Mary's Church is looking for a passionate and approachable Community Connector to help build and strengthen connections across our community, including those on the margins who may feel isolated or overlooked.
You will work alongside staff team, local residents, volunteers, community groups and church members, using an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to help people discover their gifts, skills and strengths, develop activities and play an active part in community life.
We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with people of all ages
• Sees potential in people and helps them flourish
• Has a passion for supporting those on the margins
• Builds positive relationships
• Has good communication and organisational skills
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Has experience in community engagement, outreach or volunteering
• Has a living Christian faith and supports the mission of the church
