Lesson plans: How do we make moral choices?

First published 10th May 2013

This unit explores how religious beliefs affect approaches to moral issues. This series of 9 or 10 lessons is intended to provide a set of learning activities for a Year 4 class (and may be adapted for a Y3 class).

The lessons look at special books and stories from Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Hinduism. They are designed to fit with the Awareness Mystery and Value locally agreed syllabus Key Stage 2 Unit 1: What Is Important To Me? They were written by Sue Thompson (AST and Y5 teacher at Elmlea Junior School, Bristol).
