    Strategic Programme Manager

    £41,112 pa

    Three year fixed term

    North Bristol

    We are seeking an experienced professional to organise, plan and manage a major strategic initiative that seeks to grow the Church of England across the Bristol and Swindon areas.

    You will have proven programme management experience in a complex organisation, strong influencing skills and be committed to enabling spiritual and numerical growth. Your strategic, organisational and analytical skills will be complemented by your ability to engage stakeholders, manage change and communicate effectively. The role has an Occupational Requirement to be a practising Christian.

    The Mission Areas and Resourcing Churches initiative currently involves five projects with combined budgets of £5m over four years, plus two major building projects. Significant funding has been awarded from the Church of England’s Strategic Development Fund, including to fund this post. It is part of the Diocese of Bristol’s Strategic Plan that supports its Creating connections vision.
