    Priest-In Charge

Stratton St Margaret with South Marston and Stanton Fitzwarren, Wiltshire

We have an exciting opportunity to work with three lively churches positioned at the North Eastern edge of Swindon. We are looking for a dynamic priest-in-charge with a strong personal faith, and the skills and experience of a collaborative leader to becomepart of our family; someone who is able to nurture the gifts and talents of our congregation as we prepare the way for significant growth of a new housing project within the parish. The parish comprises both rural settings, in the villages of South Marston and Stanton Fitzwarren, as well as the large suburban village of Stratton St Margaret which reaches the outskirts of Swindon.

Building on firm foundations, we look forward to advancing God’s work in our parishes, and are excited to welcome a new priest to join that journey for a period of three years in the first instance.

For a conversation about the role and the rationale underlying it, please contact

    Archdeacon Christopher Bryan on Christopher.bryan@bristoldiocese.org

We welcome applications from all sections of the community, particularly from underrepresented groups, including members of our black and minority ethnic (BME) communities.

    Closing date: 28 January 2020

    Familiarisation & Interviews: 3rd & 4th March 2020
