Practical guidance will be given on planning & implementing church projects of all kinds – buildings, missions, community events etc. for a successful outcome. We are delighted to be joined by experienced guest speakers for these sessions:

  • Budgeting for & Planning a Project - “Whatever the nature of the project, careful planning is essential if it is to be delivered successfully and as originally conceived” - speaker: Robert Scott-Biggs, ACAT Tutor
  • Managing Risk - Places of worship have a legal and regulatory requirement to keep employees and visitors safe. This session addresses how to meet that obligation, looking at all matters relating to church life including buildings, safety, recruitment, travel, litigation - speaker: David Edwards, Insurance Professional
  • Exploring Income Streams for Churches - As we face financial challenges, Steve explores several funding streams which enable us to fund the fabric, ministry and mission of our church - speaker: Steve Pierce - Director of Learning & Stewardship, Diocese of Liverpool

The cost for the training day is £45 and includes all course material, refreshments and a buffet lunch. Registration will be from 9.30 am onwards for a prompt start at 10.00 am and will finish at 4.00 pm. Please book early to secure your place if you wish to attend.
