Alleluia – what a great God we serve. I have thoroughly enjoyed my year as a Deacon and thank God for all His many blessings. It has been both a challenging and exciting year.
I thank God too, for all the support and encouragement received from my Family, Friends and Church Family. Psalm 139 tells me that God knows all about me. There is nowhere I can hide from His presence, because he is everywhere. Even before I was born he knew who I would be. I find that awesome.
So, after a tough struggle with God over becoming a Lay Minister and ten years on, a Deacon, I come to Him today, offering myself, just as I am, believing that He will continue to equip me for all that lies ahead. God has certainly surprised me and my prayer is that you will allow Him to surprise you too.
