They say the only constant in life is change, and this is certainly true when I look at my varying interests and vocations.
I was born into a German Lutheran family, but turned my back on the church as soon as I was confirmed. I came to London to study the lute and met Paul, and our young family moved to Bristol. Finding back to faith was clearly a life changing experience, but it took me 20 years to get to this day. On the way lay my beloved work as prison chaplain, a counselling diploma, and the stripping down of my faith to its bare bones. But here I am!
One constant in life is my husband Paul, whose steadiness grounds and strengthens me, as do our sons Alex and Stefan. I love the way God guides through transformation, challenging and unsettling as it may be at times.
