School Worship

The adviser provides written materials and practical training forchurch schools wishing to provide an act of school worship that is based on Christian values, beliefs and scripture, meeting the requirements of original trust deed of the school and enhancing and developing the Christian foundation. Support on all aspects of worship can be provided e.g. policy, planning, different styles, content , prayer, music, creating a sacred space, involving children etc, how to evaluate the worship etc Packs to help churches provide a reflective experience around the major Christian festivals are also available. Values for Life provides a three year programme of worship based on Christian values (see separate pages for policies, planning, details of Values for Life and Pause for Reflection, Easter Trail etc)

The Resourc Centre is open throughout the year except the Christmas/New Year period and Easter weekend. However, if you are making a special journey, please telephone beforehand to ensure we are open.

Find us: The Resource Centre is just off Corn Street in All Saints Lane, next to St Nicholas Market. Parking is available in the Galleries a short walk away, or in nearby public car parks. Alternatively there is short term parking in the streets nearby.
