Meet the Parish Development Team


	Canon Douglas Holt is the Director of the Parish Development Team, he has responsibility for Continuing Ministerial Education. He also carries the additional role of Canon Theologian for Bristol Cathedral. Tel: 0117 906 0100 E-Mail: douglas.holt@bristoldiocese.org
	Derek Chedzey is the Director for Lay Ministry in the diocese. He co-ordinates lay training and is Warden of Readers (Licensed Lay Ministers). 	The Revd Paul Rush is the Adviser on Evangelism. He encourages and enables evangelism (inviting others into a relationship with God through Christ) through consultancy with clergy, lay leaders and others. Tel: 0117 906 0100 E-mail: paul.rush@bristoldiocese.org
	Samantha Rushton is the Adviser for Licensed Ministry. (From 1st June 2008) Provides support and information to those interested in exploring vocations to authorised lay ministry and ordained ministry. Responsible for selection preparation of all candidates for authorised ministry in the Church of England (Reader and ordained ministry) 0117 906 0100
	The Revd Mark Pilgrim chairs the Diocesan Liturgy Committee. He, together with members of the Committee, is available to advise and assist clergy and laity in all aspects of liturgy and worship, including training, special services and resources. 	The Revd Ian Wills is the Adviser on Healing Ministry. Encourages healing and wholeness through prayer, pastoral care and the sacraments. Ian is Chair of the Advisory group and vicar of Soundwell.
	Mrs Carolyn Buckeridge is the Child Protection Officer for the diocese. She is responsible for advising parishes on their Child Protection policies and on bringing them up to date with ever-changing legislation. Carolyn also runs training sessions for parish 'Nominated Persons' every autumn. Carolyn works from home. 	The Revd Canon Christine Froude is Dean of Women's Ministry. Christine provides information and support to women in ministry.
