The Diocese of Bristol is unusual in that it employs a full-time
counsellor, solely for the benefit of Clergy and their families.
You don't have to be at crisis-point. Give
him a ring.
If for any reason you don't feel comfortable sharing your thoughts with
Stuart, simply ask that an alternative counsellor be arranged - we
share services with neighbouring Dioceses for exactly that purpose.
Stuart has been ordained for many years and is an accomplished counsellor. Although he uses an office at Church House, his work and management is very purposefully kept seperate from that of others. This means his work is strictly confidential; he does not produce reports on any findings, nor share information with any other person without your permission.
Working at Church House and around the Diocese, Stuart sees many people on their home patch.
