Clergy Terms of Service
In 2011, new legislation comes in around the terms of service that will affect many clergy in the Church of England. Many clergy will hold their Ecclesiastical Office under a new form of tenure called “Common Tenure”.
Common Tenure is part of a framework of terms of service that brings security and clarity for clergy and greater opportunities to be supported and encouraged in ministry. These opportunities include access to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and the Diocese of Bristol’s Ministerial Development Review (MDR) scheme.
