The Bristol Augsburg link was formed as part of the Meissen agreement and unites Bristol Diocese with the Lutheran Church in Bavaria. It draws together Christians in Bristol and Augsburg in new and colourful ways. Our link is between the Lutheran Church in Augsburg and those deaneries that lie within the area of Greater Bristol. It complements the Bristol City and Cathedral links with Hanover and Swindon’s link with Saltzgitter.
